OCTOBER UPDATE

October has been a month of blessing, pleasure, and happiness for every one of the Light House Foundation Nepal children and staff. All of the children were delighted for the different activities that will take place this month, but fi rst they had an examination, which all of the children studied for and passed.

Children weren’t just thrilled about the events; they were much more pleased to see their relatives because they were on a festival vacation. To begin the activities, a picnic at the Godavari Botanical Garden on October 18th was arranged for all of the LHFN staff members and children. Every child was
beaming with happiness and thoroughly enjoying the event. Kids had a great time exploring nature and then enjoying a tasty supper. The day was even more captivating because of the incredible music and our children carefree dancing.

The following day, on October 19th, our three children had the opportunity to meet with Nepalese model and Miss Nepal World 2018, Shrinkhala Khatiwada.
The Nepal Initiative, an LHFN partner, arranged the gathering. The major reason for allowing these children to meet her was to encourage them, as she is not just a beauty pageant winner, but also a wellknown Nepalese architect. These three kids are very interested in modeling. However, after meeting her, they were encouraged to pursue other careers while maintaining their interests.
