Light House Foundation Nepal (LHFN) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which aims to advance the lives of destitute and socially excluded children, and to enhance the livelihood of the children who are at risk of sexual abuse and/or human trafficking. LHFN focuses on providing proper accommodation and education. We have been providing housing for around - 510 children from the Dalit and Badi communities of the western region of Nepal, along with the children recommended by the Government authorities. Our aim is to reduce discrimination and encourage equality for all, regardless of caste, gender or socio-economic status. 2015-16 was an audacious year for LHFN indeed as we extended Earthquake relief programs in the major areas of Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot, Sankhu, Gorkha and Bhaktapur and took on about 65 children who had lost their families and home in the devastating earthquake. Light’s House Foundation Nepal (LHFN) was registered on 11 th October, 2009 under the Organization registration Act 2034 Nepal, Article 4 at the district administration offi ce Kathmandu
