16th Annual General Meeting, 2023

Devisara (Hannah) Badi was named internally for theVice-President post, but Singh Bahadur Tamang was to be given preference so that the outgoing President and other useful board members could be replaced amicably. Thus, for the continued operation of Light House Foundation Nepal, the appointment of the subsequent board member with the appropriate role was made:

The 16th Annual General Meeting took place at the Royal Palace Banquet on October 20, 2023. The meeting was attended by dignitaries, advisors, newly
appointed board members, and all of the past board members who held various positions on the LHFN board. After the opening prayer and plant watering, the gathering was formally opened. Following the welcome address, Mr. Vijaya Lama, the former president of LHFN, gave a word of gratitude to continue the program. In order to inform everyone about how the funds are being used for the cause, Mr. Ram krishna Mijar, the secretary of LHFN, shared the annual income and costs. In addition, all of the information regarding the yearly events and activities was openly disclosed.

In order to appoint the new board members for their positions, elections had to be conducted. A lawyer was there when it was completed. Four positions
were up for election: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Mr. Phurpa Tshering, Singh Bahadur (Suresh) Tamang, Ramkrishna Mijar, and Bindeshwori Rana Magar were the top vote-getters and were awarded the corresponding positions.
